About e-District Project Chhattisgarh
Based on Open Source e-District achieved the distinction of being the country’s biggest project. This plan has been honored with numerous awards. Like many civil services under the scheme – the birth/death certificate, income certificate, caste certificate, certificate natives – cards, domicile certificate, etc. are being provided through the centers of e-District which have appointed by the government in the state. The plan is saving valuable time for citizens and government services and information is readily available.
At the beginning of the e-District, the project was started in Raipur Municipal Corporation and after the successful conduct, it has been launched in Durg – Bhilai, Bilaspur, Rajnandgaon, Jagdalpur, and Ambikapur. Also, the department has started its works to expand these plans to work on the other 12 districts of the state.

The project’s main objective e-District of state government services and to increase the transparency of information. Citizens can easily access the desired information and services, and to obtain information, with the aim of the scheme is being extended to the entire state.
All Government Services Provide Closer to Home:
A government service through Project e-District is easy and accessible as STD / PCO and citizens can use these lines near their home is being provided through the centers. These facilities have given to Citizens on the bases of ”anytime, anywhere” services and they obtained the all facility up there.
Preparation of Infrastructure to State e-Governance:
State e-Governance for Development of infrastructure is a major aim of the rule to meet the e-District project which is being conducted.

Accelerate the services provided by government departments are a key objective of the project is e-District. Traffic from the use of information technology has reduced unnecessary files and functions are to be concluded quickly.
How to Get Birth / Death Certificate in Chhattisgarh
However, the process to make the certificate for birth and death is available through each district office or by the tehsil. The citizens can apply for this through the municipal corporation department also. In the rural areas, this facility has given through the gram panchayat offices where the certificate will be an issue within 45 days after filling the registration form. The candidates have required some document before that they apply:
- Proof for Address: Applicant needs their address proof in which they can use a photocopy of attested mode from the gazetted officer of ration card, bank passbook, passport or visa and for the candidates living in rent have to give the copy of their rent receipt.
- Age Proof: However the birth certificate issued within 14 days of the baby born but if you didn’t have applied for it at that time then you have to prove your age in which the school leaving certificate / 10[SUP]th[/SUP] class certificate or get the affidavit through the court for age.
- Caste Certificate: If the applicant belongs to any reserved category as scheduled caste, scheduled tribes or other backward class then submit the certificate for that because the caste will mention on that.
- ID Proof: In id proof, you have to attach the copy of your voter id card, college id card or any other photo id in which your details were mention.

In case the candidates don’t have any document or have missed then use the affidavit or letter by the authorized person. After collecting all the documents the candidates have to visit in the official center of CHOICE where the complete registration process will be given through the responsible officer of your area. This process needs 21 days and after the verification, you will be handover your certificate.
